In Short: DARRYL EDWARDS (Shawn Wayans) wants to be a father by adopting a child and mistakes CALVIN SIMS (Marlon Wayans), a thief who is ver small and looks like a baby, for an abandoned child. More: CALVIN SIMS wants to retire from a life of crime after having been in prison for years. A crime boss has offered him and his former partner PERCY P (Tracy Morgan) a large sum of money to steal the Queen Diamond. Because of technical errors in the jewelry store’s security system, Calvin assumes it will be an easy job. But everything goes wrong, and Calvin puts the diamond into the purse of Darryl's wife. Vanessa and her husband Darry then return to Chicago unaware that they have become involved in a high-stakes crime. Calvin diguises as a “baby” to infiltrate the home of the Edwards and will eventually sneak away with the precious jewel. A baby basket is deposited on their doorstep. Darryl wants to show his best side by caring for the abandoned child for the weekend. To his surprise, Vanessa agrees to adopt the child.
